A quirky monochrome concert poster by Flathead for a performance by Michigan punk rock legend Iggy Pop with the Explosives at the famous Armadillo World Headquarters in Austin, Texas on 20th February 1980 in support of his fourth studio album Soldier. Iggy collaborated with ex-Sex Pistols bassist Glen Matlock on the album and close friend David Bowie appeared on the song Play it Safe, performing backing vocals with Simple Minds. Ex-member of The Stooges James Williamson was originally on board to produce the album, but walked out on the project after conflicting with Bowie over recording techniques.

Condition

Very good (B+)

Unfolded, not backed. Some creasing and spots of discolouration to upper edge . Otherwise excellent.
