A scarce concert poster for a performance by Pink Floyd at the historic Fillmore West in San Francisco on 21st October 1970 on the North American leg of their Atom Heart Mother World Tour. The band played the 24 minute six-part suite Atom Heart Mother as an encore with an orchestra. Artist Pat Hanks hand-illustrated a bird framing a photograph of the band's roadies with their equipment, taken from the back cover of their 1969 Ummagumma album. The design was first used for Pink Floyd's show at the Fillmore on 29th April 1970, numbered BG230 in the Bill Graham poster series, and reused for the band's return in October, with the removal of a 'David Singer' artist credit which Hanks had accidentally added to the April poster. As such this poster is known as BG230A.
