In a radical image update, Two For The Road presented a new-look, more liberated Audrey Hepburn, dressed in the height of sixties mod fashion. The offbeat film covered twelve years of a faltering marriage, with a revolutionary non-linear narrative jumping back and forth episodically. In a dramatic departure for Audrey, the script called for adultery, profanity, bikini frolics and even a nude bedroom scene with co-star Albert Finney. Although Audrey's performance was praised as her best in years, she was recognised instead with an Oscar nomination for her role in Wait Until Dark, which was released the same year. Featuring a fun photomontage of the film's hitchhiking scene, this charming poster reflects the Finnish title of the movie which translates as 'Thumbs Up For Marriage.'

Unfolded, backed on linen in the European style with no restoration whatsoever. Backing has somewhat smoothed and diminished minor nicks and creases to corners and edges and two half inch tears to right edge. Stapleholes to corners. Some uneven fading to blue ground. Image and colours otherwise very good.
