Although the film itself is somewhat unknown, released only in France and the Netherlands, this stunning French Moyenne poster for the 1964 Pierre Armand melodrama Paris-Champagne stands on it's own, with it's colourful can-can dancers set against the twinkling night lights of Paris and the Moulin Rouge. The strange dreamlike plot saw a tramp transform himself into a handsome young man to conduct a young flower-seller on a surreal whirlwind tour of the exotic Parisian night.
Condition
Excellent (A-)
Backed on linen in the European style with no restoration whatsoever. Backing has smoothed and diminished one horizontal and one vertical fold line so this poster looks spectacular for display. Image and colours excellent.
