Sean Connery was paid a then record $1.25 million to return as James Bond for EON Production's Diamonds Are Forever, his sixth and final outing as Bond after declining the role in 1969's On Her Majesty's Secret Service. A diamond smuggling investigation leads 007 to Las Vegas, where he uncovers an extortion plot headed by his old nemesis Blofeld. This Australian Daybill poster features a horizontal flip of the same explosive Robert McGinnis artwork seen on the US One Sheet poster, depicting the suave British spy in a blaze of action, flanked by Bond girls Tiffany Case and Plenty O’Toole.

Excellent (A-)
Conservation backed on linen. Backing and the most minor spots of colour touching have smoothed and diminished the two standard horizontal machine folds. Miniscule staple hole to lower right corner. Tiny scratch to left margin. Whisper of darkening to edges. Image and colours excellent.
