Issued for a 1970s Italian re-release of Michelangelo Antonioni’s 1966 explicit English language crime thriller Blow-Up, this stunning country of origin poster features the same artwork as the original Italian release. Alongside Vanessa Redgrave, Jane Birkin and sixties model Veruschka, David Hemmings starred as a swinging London photographer who unwittingly photographs a murder. One of the most acclaimed films of the counterculture era, Blow-Up was an international success and remains one of the seminal works of the sixties.

Excellent (A-)
Conservation backed on linen with no restoration. Backing has smoothed and diminished the standard machine folds as issued. A few light creases to lower margin and upper edge of pink ground. A few blunt scratches through credits with no surface colour loss. Image and colours excellent.
