A beloved American blockbuster, Robert Zemeckis' 1985 sci-fi adventure Back to the Future starred Michael J. Fox as teenager Marty McFly, blasted back to 1955 in the plutonium-powered DeLorean time machine created by eccentric scientist Doc Brown. After setting off a time-altering chain reaction that could vaporise his future, Marty must ensure his high-school parents fall in love so that he can get back to the future. The highest grossing film of 1985, Back to the Future was nominated for four Academy Awards and sparked one of the most successful trilogies ever. Unlike the famous Drew Struzan poster artwork seen throughout the US and UK campaign, which focused on teen hero Marty, this scarce and sumptuously coloured Hungarian One Sheet pictured Doc Brown controlling his time-travelling car (notably not illustrated as a DeLorean) as it blasts through a cloudy clock in the sky.

Condition

Excellent (A-)

Not backed. One very soft horizontal fold. Bumps to corners and a few light creases through centre of image. Image and colours otherwise excellent.
